Study Abroad
The Office of Study Abroad offers study abroad programs for students in every part
of the world and in a wide variety of majors. Research shows students who study abroad graduate within four years at a higher rate than students who stay on campus for their full degree program.
Students also have the option to complete the International Education WTE, which can be directly satisfied by a study abroad experience. Additional information can be found on the Study Abroad website at washburn.studioabroad.com.
International Programs
The Office of International Programs strives to develop and maintain a level of international competence commensurate with the needs of students and faculty within the University, businesses and organizations in the community to promote the value of international awareness. International Programs serves international students/scholars, offers intensive English classes, international support for faculty and campus-wide and community international programming.
