The Leadership Institute (LI) is an academic and co-curricular program available to any student at Washburn University. Our programs emphasize the importance of learning about leadership and putting that knowledge into practice. Once students develop an understanding of leadership, they have the opportunity to apply their knowledge through campus and community activities.
The Leadership Institute offers a variety of opportunities to develop and gain valuable leadership experience including:
• WashburnTransformational Experience (WTE): LeadershipTransformational Experience
• Leadership Learning Community in the Living Learning Center (LLC)
• Leadership Studies minor or certificate
• Student leadership events, conferences
and competitions
